Arms So Real
"Arms So Real" is an old song that first made it into
the hands of fans in 2005 thanks to an unearthed live version (where is
was sometimes mistakenly labeled "Arms From You" or "Hearts Are Real".)
Then a couple months later, the studio version came to light thanks to
Shannon's Monroe House Demos. Turns out the song was a Synthetic Flying
Machine song (the band that splintered off to form NMH and Olivia Tremor
Control.) It was apparently a collaboration with Will Cullen Hart (OTC)
and features him singing on the last verse.

Lyrics
(these are unconfirmed)
Folded into arms so real
There is something that we can feel
Life's not horrible all the time
Slopes and cups and words of rhyme
Dripping ceiling, lemon-lime
I love you and that's all I have to say
Eyes of gray and pavement green
Wrap your arms around the scene (seam?)
Take your love and hold it close
Just slightest suggestion
Eyes of gray and pavement green
Wrap your arms around the scene (seam?)
Take your love and hold it close
Just slightest suggestion
Spinning slightly around
My head hits the ground
A seed pops out
Globes of thought then descend onto you
With love
With love
With love!
